So you want to be a rapper, but you don't look like one. Read this and people will soon see you as a hip-hop star.

Steps

  1. Get a cool hat and bandana. Put the bandana on your head and the hat over the top of it.
  2. Try to get some bling; a chain, grill, or some rings. If you can't afford a grill, get some aluminum foil and try putting that in your mouth (unless you have cavities!). Also, get some stylin' oversize sunglasses.
  3. Get a cool shirt, like an old basketball jersey. You could also get a hoodie. Big oversize sports jerseys are popular. You could just go for the brands like Fubu or Players69 as well.
  4. Get some appropriate shoes: basketball style or sneakers of the popular brands, like K-Swiss, Adidas, Mark Ecko, etc.
  5. Baggy pants are still mandatory for the rap crowd. Good brands include Southpole and Fubu.

Tips

  • If people make fun of you, pay no attention to them. Focus on the style thing and believe!
  • You can never get too much bling!
  • If you want to dress like a rapper, then learn how to rap in order to avoid being a poser.

Warnings

  • Dressing like this might violate your school's dress code.
  • Some people take the hip-hop thing very seriously and get all bent out of shape about street cred and whatnot; be careful and make your moves accordingly.
