A paper wasp is a projectile shot from a rubber band.
Steps
- Get a standard size sheet of paper (A4, 8.5" x 11") and cut it in half.
- Fold one of the two pieces in half.
- Fold this in half again.
- Continue to fold the piece until you get a small, thick piece of paper about 5 centimeters by one centimeter.
- Fold that in half.
- Find a thick rubber band and use the fold in the paper to hook the paper wasps onto the rubber band.
- Grab the end of the wasp and pull back.
- Let go to release the wasp.
Alternate Method
- Fold a post-it note in half (preferably the hamburger way).
- Fold it in half again so you have a rectangle (2.5x1.9cm).
- Fold diagonally (corner to corner) once.
- Fold up (bottom to top).
- Fold it in half.
- Shoot it with a rubber band.
Tips
- This works best with thick rubber bands.
Warnings
- Don't shoot at people or animals - this could cause injury.
