How to Re Twist Dreadlocks

 Nowadays, many people are taking an interest in dread locks. If you want to make some money by learning to re-twist them or save some money by doing your own, here is what you need.

This shows you how to re twist dreadlocks the correct way. You will want to know how to re-twist dreadlocks this way so the dreadlocks will come out nice and neat.

Steps

  1. Wash hair with shampoo by massaging the scalp with shampoo and water until hair is clean.
  2. Rinse all shampoo out then you add hair conditioner and massage the scalp until dreadlocks are moisturized and loose.
  3. Take towel just to stop water from dripping.
  4. Start from the back of the head take the first dread put a finger tip of locking grease on the dread.
  5. Take the rattail comb put comb in hair from the scalp bring the comb down until the dread lock stops the comb.
  6. Twist the comb while hair is still in the comb until the dread is twisted completely.
  7. Secure dreadlock with metal hairclip after palm rolling.
  8. Do every dread that same way.
  9. Sit under dryer until hair is dry.

 

Tips

  • · Sleep with a scull cap.
  • · Dry for an extra 10 minutes after you think it is dry.
  • · Twist all dreads in the front center going to the back.
  • · Twist all dreads in the front right to the side and the front left to that side.
  • · After a weeks wear if hair looks dry put hair oil on it.

 

Warnings

  • Make sure the hair dryer is not so hot!
