How to Make Good Iced Coffee

image

No more making the coffee hours ahead of time and waiting for it to get cold and stale! This is a better way, folks.

Steps

  1. Brew one cup of double strength coffee. That is, 2 tablespoons (2 ml) of coffee with 6 fluid ounces (180 ml) water.
  2. If you take sugar in your coffee, pour the coffee into a mug and stir in the sugar until it is dissolved. If you don't know how much you like, try 4 tablespoons (60 ml).
  3. Fill a larger cup with ice. A regular travel mug is the right size, or anything around 7 or 8 inches (180 mm or 200 mm) high.
  4. Pour the hot coffee over the ice. It will melt a lot of the ice, and then cool down immediately
  5. Stir in your cream. If you don't know how much you like, try 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of half and half.

Tips

  • The amounts of sugar and cream I listed are about what you'd be given in a coffee shop. If you like more of less of either, change it.
  • If you like a particular brand of coffee such as Honey Dew or Tim Hortons, buy your coffee from them to get the same taste.
  • Try Don Francisco brand Vanilla Nut. It's cheap and delicious. You won't be sorry.
