How to Pierce Your Own Ear

image

Do you want to pierce your ear but your parents won't let you or you just don't have the money?

Steps

  1. Ice your ear for about two minutes.
  2. Sterilize the needle, your earring, and your ear with alcohol, or peroxide.
  3. Get your needle (a safety pin works best because it hurts to push a sewing needle through your ear because it's slow and it makes your finger hurt) and push it through your ear.
  4. Wait about 30 minutes before taking it out; you want to make a good hole. Ice your ear because it'll hurt taking it out.
  5. Put the earring in the alcohol or hydrogen peroxide; take the needle out and put the earring in.

Tips

  • Don't try to do it with a sewing needle.
  • Sterilize everything with a lighter, alcohol, or peroxide.
  • DO NOT EVER let your parents know. unless you are older.

Warnings

  • Your ear will probably bleed when you take the needle out or when you put the earring in. do not worry if it bleeds. if it doesn't bleed . you are lucky.
  • don't take the earring out for at least a day. 2 to be safe.
  • twirl or spin the earrings every so often.
  • keep your hair away from the earring. it will get stuck in it and hurt.
  • Clean it every day with alcohol for 6 weeks; that is how long it takes to heal.
  • Don't get it infected.

Things You'll Need

  • needle
  • alcohol or peroxide
  • lighter
  • ice cubes
  • earring
  • tissues or parer towels.
