How to Dye Your Hair Lighter Cheaply

image

Have you ever bought those expensive dying kits to get your hair lighter? Now you don't have to!

Steps

  1. Wash your hair with moisturizing shampoo & conditioner.
  2. Go to your local drugstore, or whatever, and buy a couple of bottles of hydrogen peroxide. They cost like, 50¢, so it costs about to dye your hair LIGHTER this way.
  3. Sit over the bathtub or sink, so the peroxide will go down the drain.
  4. Pour a small amount on the top of your head. Rub it around. Repeat this until ALL your hair is wet. If necessary, open the other bottle(s) of peroxide.
  5. Using a wide-tooth comb, comb your hair.
  6. Blow-dry it.
  7. You may want to wash your hair again.
  8. Your hair should be a much lighter color.

Tips

  • 2 Bottles of peroxide is basically the absolute most you will need, unless you have unusually long hair.
  • Unless you want your hair a lot lighter than it used to be, don't use this method!
  • Try using this technique on a small lock of hair, and see if you like the color before dying your whole head.

Warnings

  • You may not be able to get rid of the color.
