How to Make a Paper Chain

Steps

1. Get a piece of notebook paper or some other paper that size. Fold it in half "hot dog" style (parallel to the length of the paper).
2. Split the paper along the crease. There are several ways to do this. You could also run your nail firmly across the crease or use scissors.
3. Fold these two pieces of paper "hamburger" style (parallel to the shortest side) and tear them apart on the crease. You will be left with four pieces of paper.
4. Fold one of the four pieces of paper "hot dog" style; do it three times.You should now have a thin piece of paper.
5. Fold the two sides of the paper inward until they meet each other right in the middle.
6. Fold the paper in half creating a "wasp" or "hornet."
7. Do the same with the other three pieces of paper.
8. Take one of your "hornets" and put the end inside of the loops on the end of another "hornet". Keep doing this and it should end up as a "W".
9. Make more "hornets" and make the chain as long as you want it to be!
